Titsa (the Tenerife Bus Service) has recently announced the start of a new bus service from the Tenerife Sur Airport through Los Cristianos, Playa de Las Americas and onto La Caletta.
 

Known as the Aeorbus, the 488 service runs every 45 minutes and cost €5 per person per way.

The 488 stops at 5 stops along the route (approx sites are marked on the map below). Initially the route was expected to include many more stop however pressure from the Tenerife Taxi Drivers lobby has resulted in fewer stops.

At only €5 per journey this service will prove to be a very cost effective service for qanyone travelling alone or with a partner however, a family of four (€20) may find that a Taxi from the airport rank does not cost much more and is direct particularly if the bus stops are a distance from your Tenerife accomodation and you then have to take a short Taxi ride.
