Gloria Estefan is set to play Tenerife

The Cuban singer Gloria Estefan is to play a concert in Tenerife (19th September 2008), it will be part of her tour designed to promote her latest album 90 Millas.

90 Millas (or 90 Miles n English) is the distance between her native Cuba and the USA where she was brought up as a Cuban Exile following her fathers imprisonment as a political prisoners after Fidel Castro took power in the Cuban Revolution.

The concert will be staged at the Centro Insular de Atletismo de Tenerife (The National Athletics Stadium) in Santa Cruz and will start at 22.00 hrs.

The ticket prices are €30 for the general areas and €40 for the stands. Tickets are available (on-line) from General Tickets Caja Canarias (Max of 9 tickets per order),  as well as other ticket outlets throughout the island.
