Blue Marlin Tenerife

Islands are great for fishing, the very nature of the fact that they are surrounded by water means that you can fish from almost anywhere on the shore of an island. You will be glad to hear that Tenerife is no exception to this rule and the fishing in Tenerife is simply fantastic. What’s more, if you are a big game fisherman (or woman) you can indulge yourself on Tenerife.

You can go big game fishing from Puerto Colon Marina in Las Americas. Here you can charter a boat and during the season you can fish for many big game species including:

The Blue Marlin is without doubt the king of the Big Game Fish the world over and here in Tenerife this is no exception. This fish holds the Tenerife record for the largest  ever landed in Tenerife. On  09/10/1999 a Blue Marlin weighing in at 441 Kgs (972lb) was landed, breaking the existing Tenerife record for Big Game Fish. Big Game fishing and Tenerife, what an exciting combination.

There are many varied and active charters on the island, some specialise in bottom fishing, others in actual big game fishing, we troll all year round for the pelagic species, some days we win some we loose, that's why its called fishing and not catching. but we go the extra mile to try the hardest to make sure you have the best chance at boating the fish of a life time.

Hello,

My name is Mick and I have been taking customers out of tenerife on fishing excursions for more than 12 years now after carrying on the business my father Terry started more than 20 years back, needless to say we got quite a bit of experience when it comes to fishing in tenerife, Big Game, Deep Sea, Sharking, Jig Fishing basically all types.
If anyone wants to experience a
'Genuine Fishing' trip, then look no further.
