Today I had a telephone conversation about Tenerife with one of our suppliers at work. He knew we have a love of Tenerife and a place in Tenerife but wasn’t quite sure where. As the conversation developed, he told us how he and his wife had visited Tenerife for the first time in December. They had the same idea as many others and were searching for some winter sun in Tenerife.

Neither he nor his wife had holidayed on the island before and were a little unsure about what they would think of the place but they loved it. They had booked a week’s holiday on the Golf del Sur.

The conversation developed along the lines of ‘we were looking for a weeks chill out holiday in December and ended up booking for Tenerife.’ As we talked we both commented about how wonderful it is to stroll along the front of Los Critstianos in the middle of December and look at the temperatures displayed on the signs reading 26ºC as you select a café bar to have a cool beer.

Tenerife is very much a chill-out destination if you want it to be, it can also be an action packed holiday spot where you can try your hand at extreme sports such as Hang-gliding, Scuba Diving, Wind or Kite Surfing, Parascending, Mountain Biking and Mountaineering or something slightly more sedate such as Golf or Bowls.

Tenerife is a destination that can tailor itself to your own needs. Whatever type of holiday you wish for, Tenerife can be the answer.
