Granadilla has been chosen as the area to house the new Tenerife super -port, its location 50km from the capital of Tenerife (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) and its close proximity to Tenerife Sur Airport makes this area ripe for development.

The proposed development is set to cover over 1.5million sq meters around the Granadilla area. The project which has been given the ‘go ahead’ will help to increase traffic to the area, the South of Tenerife and ultimately the whole of the island. It is envisaged that the port will become a key staging point for traffic and goods bound for the Canaries, Europe and Africa due to Tenerife‘s strategic position in respect to these routes.
