A recent survey revealed how owners of Tenerife properties had benefited from the increased number of Low-Cost airlines flying into the island. The survey concluded that travel costs had a direct impact upon the values of weekly rentals. As travel costs had declined, people were willing to pay higher rental costs.

In particular the survey noted that if the property was within 10 - 15 miles of the airport this had a major influence on the rentals achievable, in some instances this could result in a premium of around 30% over similar properties elsewhere.

This is very good news for anyone who is considering buying a Tenerife property or someone who currently has a Tenerife Rental property because the relative short transfer distances from the airports on Tenerife to the major tourist centres will have a positive impact on rental values.

The resort of Fanabe (situated in the Playa de Las Americas area) finds itself just on the edge of this 10 - 15 miles transfer zone and its white sandy beach, quality hotels and accommodation that sits alongside a wealth of designer shops, bars and restaurants makes Fanabe an ideal area for anyone who is looking to buy a Tenerife property and generate a rental income to help cover their investment costs.

Wady Properties is an established Tenerife Real Estate agent that specialise in propert sales and rentals in the area of Fanabe and Puerto Colon can offer a wealth of experience in helping you in your quest to find the ideal Tenerife  villa or apartment in order to maximise any Tenerife rental returns.
