We are now back from a great short break in Tenerife; a long weekend away from the UK and the snow has done us the power of good and as usual on our return from Tenerife we are rearing to go and get stuck into UK work once again.

As I have mentioned before here on Tenerife Times, Tenerife makes for an excellent weekend break destination. With flights into both Tenerife South and Tenerife North Airports from all the major UK airports; Tenerife’s almost guaranteed sunshine makes for an ideal weekend break destination.

I have on previous occasions booked a flight to Tenerife at short notice so that I can get a weekend’s diving in with Chris and Sarah from Tenerife Scuba when the weather in the UK has made diving impossible to all but the truly hardened ‘hard core’ divers (which I am defiantly not!)

Or maybe its weeks since you’ve had a game of golf, well again Tenerife with its many championship quality courses is an ideal destination for a winter or early spring mini golfing break.

I always say of the flight to Tenerife, its 4+ hours due south into the sunshine and warm weather which allows you to indulge in your own outdoors passion, be it diving, golf or even nude sunbathing!
