The tournament which is part of the Ladies European Tour sees the finest of Lady Golfers all converging on Tenerife for the 4 day event.

Tenerife Ladies Open attracts world’s top golfers

This year’s tournament, one of the major highlights on the women’s golfing calendar, will be played at Golf del Sur and promises to be a great event for both players and spectators.

For the sixth year running, Tenerife is hosting the Tenerife Ladies Open, which takes place from 3-6 May at Golf del Sur (San Miguel de Abona), the first course to stage this prestigious annual event on the Ladies European Tour.  

Last year’s winner Riikka Hakkarainen from Finland returns to the Tenerife Ladies Open to defend her title. The four day event is the third on the 2007 Ladies European Tour and the first of the season on European soil after the Women’s World Cup of Golf in South Africa and the ANZ Ladies Masters in Australia.
