As we sat in our apartment last week in Tenerife we looked out onto Yellow Moutain (Costa del Silencio) there was an eerie sunset, what I mean by that is as the sun was setting, it cast shadows and light onto the mountain that was shrouded in the dark skies. It was stunning to say the least.

Out the back, the views of the mountains was even more impressive . . .  

there was a 'mini Calima' going on and the way the sunlight filtered through the dust and sand that surrounded the mountains was beautiful.

The light and the shadows in Tenerife are amongst some of the most stunning to be seen anywhere in the world, enjoy your Tenerife Sunsets.
