During our last visit to Tenerife we had the opportunity to stay at one of Las Americas and Tenerife’s finest hotels for a night. The Villas Cortez 5* hotel is situated on the Avenida Rafael Puig and without doubt lives up to its 5 star billing.

From its spacious reception area that is littered with stunning flower decorations and ‘old master’ style paintings to the opulent pool areas, this hotel oozes quality and style.

         

Our bedroom was a junior sweet that looked out onto the pool area and even though it was past 2am in the morning when we were shown to our room, it didn’t fail to impress. The bed was the size of a small country (well not exactly but you get the idea!!) and the bathroom complete with complementary dressing gowns and slippers was immaculately clean and fresh.

      

Our stay in the Villas Cortez included breakfast that was served in a sunlight strewn dinning area with adjoining open air courtyard should you wish to dine alfresco. The choice of breakfast items was without par, from full English, Continental Cheese and Meats to croissants and sweet cake.

The Villas Cortez is as good as any five star hotel around the world, the service was as polite and courteous as you would expect from this quality of hotel.

If are wanting to stay in Playa de Las Americas, Tenerife and fancy a bit of luxury, take a look at the Villas Cortez where like us you will not be disappointed.
