I thought I should let you all know that Dr Leslie Brown who has contributed a couple of articles here and also here on Tenerife Times has launched his own Tenerife Blog, it’s a very different take on Tenerife life and tells about the trials and tribulations of running a Tenerife pro bike hire and training business from La Orotava in the North of Tenerife.

A great Tenerife Blog site

Leslie has produced in a short space of time a great Tenerife Blog, why not take a look at it and see how life can be very different for local residents who live and work away from the main tourist areas of Tenerife.

Hi Michael, thanks for adding this link to my new blog. I really do appreciate it.

Readers might like to know that Mr. Hopkins was the person who originally suggested that I create my own blog!

I think there is something in it for everyone. It's definitely not just for cyclists in Tenerife. I think all expatriates will identify with some of the articles...

I think of it more like an online book. Especially the sections on Science, Mental Health, Society & Culture.

I'm thinking of changing the name to something more catchy like: 'Life from an Outsider's Perspective' or something to that effect... or maybe 'Life from the Antipode'?!

Some interesting stats:
The blog is 2 months old and has already achieved ~2700 visits. It took 9 months for www.Tenerife-Training.net to get that number of total visits!

Hopefully I'll see you & your wife in Tenerife again soon!
Leslie
