Guardia Civil boat runs aground in Tenerife PDF Print E-mail

Every once in a while you read or hear a story about Tenerife that makes you smile, recently there was an incident that has left the whole of Tenerife with a big smile on their faces – well, maybe not quite everyone, I don’t think the Guardia Civil will be smiling that much.

The ill fated Guardia Civil boat.

Last week, the Guardia Civil’s top spec, all singing, all dancing coastal patrol boat managed to find itself stranded on the rocks between the lighthouse outside of Las Galletas and Palm Mar.

Just how this happened is still the subject of much debate and thinly veiled wise cracks within the bars of Tenerife.

You can read more about it on Tenerife Scuba’s blog here.
