I am having to post this answer to an email we have just received here on Tenerife Times relating to a possible Tenerife Timeshare fraud because the email supplied by Moira appears not to be valid and I think that its important that both Moira and her friend who bought the Tenerife Timeshare should read our previous post relating to this matter.
Q: Can you help me please? My friend was "scammed" by a timeshare gang in Tenerife some years ago. We understand that the Tenerife Government have set up a fund to reimburse people who have been duped and she was contacted tonight be someone purporting to represent the Canaries Tourist Association. This person inidicated that if my friend was willing to pay £147 and come out to Tenerife, she would be compensated up to 90% of her monies. As you can imagine, we are concerned about this, and cannot think of way to find out whether this offer is true or not. Having gone on the web, found your site, and would be grateful for any advice. Moira A: Hi Moira,
Thanks for your enquiry regarding Tenerife Times, have you looked at this post?

Hope this helps.

You absolutely must be careful with timeshares. Defnitely do your homework! A good website for udated fraud alerts and other factoids about the timeshare industry is this: [www.timeshareconsumergroup.org] Posted by Martin Malchus, on 02/01/2008 at 23:23 |
