Whilst surfing YouTube recently I came across a video (in Spanish) showing the crowning of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival Queen for 2008. This video gives you an indication of the quality acheived in the costumes of the ladies and an insight into the real quality of the Carnival.

Put January 2009 into your diaries and book your flights to Tenerife early inorder to see the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival.
