Every cars glove compartment should have a copy of Real Tenerife Island Drives, it's the ultimate page turner if you want to know the island rather than just see it. Now there is a website that not only compliments it, but also updates it and alerts you to where to be to enjoy up coming events.

www.realtenerifeislanddrives.com contains the essence of the book, the stunning photos, the attention to detail and the inside knowledge gleaned and shared by Jack and Andrea Montgomery. New features include Single Route Itineries, that can be downloaded as a PDF, and links to services you may need, such as car hire.

Current weather and a featured image to draw your attention to this months flavour, will make sure you can plan your trip, forewarned. The book still stands as a must have, and you can order a copy via the website, but even if your copy is well thumbed, there is more to find here. The blog gives personal accounts of Jack and Andreas recent trips, Tenerife continues to surprise even the most seasoned of explorers, hopefully you will discover that for yourselves, but it's good to have a helpful nudge in the right direction at your fingertips.
