One of the
things I find fascinating about Tenerife is that the more often I visit the Island the more I find out about it. There
is always something new to find, somewhere new to go. You really need to get
under the skin of Tenerife and out of Las Americas & Los Christianos (not that there is
anything wrong with these places).

Last year
saw my wife’s 40th birthday and we were coming out to Tenerife again for a holiday and I wanted to
arrange something special for her, 2 nights at a hotel. I searched the internet
using Google and came up with a number of options. After careful consideration
I narrowed the choices down to 2 hotels
- The Parador at the foot of
Teide
- Hotel San Roque in Garachico
I realised
that both would be fantastic but in the end chose the San Roque.
What an
inspired choice this turned out to be.
But more on
that later. |
