As 2008 draws to a close in Tenerife as well as all around the world, we look forward to 2009 and all that it promises.

The continued run on the Pound against the Euro and the Global downturn in economic stability has to be a concern to anyone who runs a tourist based business in Tenerife however, Tenerife needs to look to its positives such as its all year round climate, its stunning scenery both on the land and under water and its heritage in a bid to promote itself.

Above all, businesses who deal with tourists in Tenerife need to offer better value than ever in order to attract the UK visitor who’s money will now not go as far.

Tenerife needs to promote its positives,  2008 saw Siam Park finally open its doors to visitors and a Cheese from Tenerife win the world’s best cheese award, these are positives that should help promote Tenerife to the rest of the world and which above all else are unique to Tenerife.

Lets all hope 2009 is a great year for Tenerife and anyone who takes a Tenerife Holiday.
