Q: How many Cigarettes can you bring back from Tenerife? Helen Gallett
A: Hi Helen, thank you for your enquiry on TenerifeTimes.com. Whist Tenerife is part of Spain and therefore an EU country, Tenerife is classed as a Duty Free Island . . . .
and as such you are restricted to the Duty Free allowances that apply to non-EU countries, your Tenerife Duty Free allowances are:
* 200 cigarettes, or 100 cigarillos, or 50 cigars, or 250g of tobacco * 4 litres of still table wine * 1 litre of spirits or strong liqueurs over 22% volume; or 2 litres of fortified wine, sparkling wine or other liqueurs * 16 litres of beer * 60cc/ml of perfume * £300 worth of all other goods including gifts and souvenirs
I hope this answers your question about your Duty Free allowances and Tenerife. |
