Tenerife, like all European holiday destinations has seen a relatively small number of Swine Flu cases in recent months. There has been much speculation over the number of people who have contracted Swine Flu whilst in Tenerife and as this post ‘goes to press’ there are very few cases if any currently being treated on the Island.
In an effort to keep it this way, people should be advised that if they show any signs of having contacted the (AH1N1) virus they should not travel. In most cases, your holiday insurance will cover the cost of cancellation due to medical reasons and this should be your first option.
Lets help everyone have a great Tenerife holiday and keep the risk of contamination to a minimum. Remember, if in doubt, don’t travel. |
