  • Where will you get the best/cheapest deal?
  • Do you book flights and Hotel separately?
  • Do you use an Airline or Travel Agent?
  • Many people these days are used to booking flights online indeed many of the budget airlines will work this way only. What about accommodation though? Well for a number of years TenerifeScuba has tended to book this for customers using local contacts to get the best deals that we can for people. We have said “Book your flights and we will do the rest….” Simply the more money you can save getting and staying here the more you can spend on diving has been our philosophy.

We have noticed that has been a change happening over the last 6 months or so. Package deals flights and accommodations are, in many cases, now cheaper than buying the two separately not by a little but by considerable amounts!

So let’s look at a holiday for two people and the different booking options. So same dates, same hotel, same airport, yes you want hold luggage, no you have insurance, no transfers. No special offers. As level a playing field as I can get it.

2 people 1 week 17th to 24 June, flights from London Luton, 3 Star Hotel on the Golf Del Sur, Self catering,

  • Flights & Hotel booked direct but separately £648
  • Booked direct with an airline £583
  • Booked directly with Travel Agent £554
  • This is not the cheapest deal that is available the cheapest, on the same basis as above, but staying in Las Americas is £378 for two people!!!!!!

So with this in mind we have now have a partnership with award winning online travel agents LowCostHolidays.

Have a look their website make your own mind up.
