HMS Bounty the Tall Ship which visited Tenerife back in Christmas 2007 has been hit by Hurricane Sandy as it sailed from Conneticut to Florida.

 HMS Bounty

The Ship began to take on water on its voyage and the crew eventually had to abandon ship as it appear it capsized.

14 of the 16 crew members managed to get into the life rafts and were eventually rescued by the US Coast Guard, there is still no news of the missing 2 crew members.
