How good are they?

Last week Jenette (Mrs H) and  arrived on the XL flight out of Manchester. We got off the plane, walked to the arrivals lounge and . . .

 

I went to the AutoReisen car hire desk where I sorted the paperwork, paid for the car and turned around to find Jenette and our cases waiting for us, how fast is that?

Within 30 mins of landing we were turning the lights on on our appartment in Costa Del Silencio complete with baggage and hire car.

Oh, I nearly forgot, 2 flights landed within 3 mins of each other and we were the second one. Much respect has to go out to the Baggage Handlers of Reina Sofia Airport, Tenerife. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

hi just to say we went tenerife on 5/01/07 the baggage handlers were fab . viva to them all.

We had a great time, as usual, it gets harder and harder to come back to England!

As usual, there was a stark contrast between our experiences at Tenerife Airport and Manchester Airport. Why are they so slow at Manchester?

Welcome back, Michael. I hope you had a good holiday.
We have had the same experience on our last two trips with the baggage. I haven't actually timed how long it has taken but I would say it was definitely under an hour from landing to walking into our apartment. Like you, on both trips the bags were waiting before we finished booking out the car!
