Tenerife has some of the worlds best windsurfing areas, chief among these is El Medano situated 6km from the Reina Sophia airport in the South of Tenerife and only 20km from the main tourist areas of Los Cristianos and Las Americas, El Medano is visited by windsurfers from around the world.
El Médano Beach has 3 different windsurfing zones. The North-bay (this is were our center has it's base) is suited for the better wave-sailors looking for a combination of jumping and wave-riding (ex-worldcup spot).
The harbourwall, situated in between the two bays. Ideal for pure wave-riding. The South-bay offers the most allround base to improve your free-riding skills.
