Tenerife Google Maps added

I have been busy today adding Google Maps to Tenerife Times. It is hoped that this will provide a valuable resource on Tenerife for our visitors and members. The Tenerife Google map is easy to use, You have 3 different types fo maps available to you.

MAP - this is a standard map that you can use to find areas with roads clearly marked .

SATELLITE - is a series of Satellite photographs or maps. These maps are very detailed and are able to zoom in to a very close range. I have been able to locate our own balconies on our appartment!

HYBRID - this is a mixture of Map view and Satellite view where the roads are laid over the satellite pictures.

Because of this I have had to delay the posting of the El Mirador de La Centinela pictures - sorry but I think it will be worth it in the end!
