Whenever my wife and I go on holiday we always seem to end up at a local market. At markets, you can pick up souvineers and other goods cheap, Tenerife is no exception to this - we love the Tenerife Markets and their vibrance. However, be warned - they get very hot in between the stalls so dress accordingly, put on a lot of sun screen and take some water with you and you will find a bargain and enjoy the Tenerife Markets.
There are a number of Tenerife Markets throughout the island. Many are held in the South of Tenerife and aimed at tourists visiting Tenerife. Chief among these Tenerife Markets are: - Los Abrigos, Night Market, Tuesday : 18:00-22:00
- Playa San Juan, Tourist Market, Wednesday: 10:00-14:00
- Playa San Juan, Car Boot Market, Sundays 09.00-15.00
- Costa Adeje, (Opposite CC El Duque, Fañabé) Tourist Market, Thursday/Saturday : 09:00-14:00
- Los Cristianos, Tourist Market, Sunday : 9:00-14:00
- Santa Cruz de Tenerife Flea/Antique Market Saturday/Sunday : 08:00 - 14:00
- El Medano, Tourist Market,Saturday, 09.00-14.00
- San Isidro, Flea Market, Friday 17.00-21.00
Visit these markets and grab yourselves a bargain - but don't forget to haggle, at worst, they can refuse - at best you can save some money. |
